Long,
straight, hair for your wedding. Why not? To accomplish
the long, full head of hair in the photo above use 20
inches and at least 2 packages, 6-8 ounces or 400 strands,
of extension hair.
The
MANEMAXX System allows you to create that volume that
will come from adding the hair all the way toward, and
near, your crown. But allows the bonding of the hair
extension to be covered by a thin layer of your own
hair at the crown.
The
strand-by-strand system allows your hair to flow freely,
giving you a natural-looking and natural feeling result
from the hair extensions. Comfortable so you won't be
bothered on a day you have so much to think about... |

Confetti
hair? Oh yah! What great way to celebrate a special
day and turn your hair into fun-fetti!
First,
you will want to treat your hair with a setting spray
prior to using the iron. With a tiny barrel hot iron,
start from the ends of your hair and wrap the hair around
and around until you are about 2 inches from your scalp.
Hold for a few seconds, then release. Don't touch the
curls at all. Leave the hair to cool and mist with a
holding spray.
For
this fun style you can get by with a minimal amount
of extension hair. Go long because the curls will take
up some of your length,an inch or so. Around 3 ounces,
or 150 strands, of extension hair should suffice. You
wouldn't want to install too much hair as it would take
far too long to accomplish the look. Using just a bit
of extension hair for a style like this can be completed
in a reasonable time and give you a very dramatic result! |
|
Deciding
on colors? When using the strand-by-strand individual
method of installing hair extensions, you have the option
to use 1 color or mix 2 or 3.
Although
there is natural depth to the hair color you purchase,
you may want to purchase additional hair just above
and/or below your color. This will give a more defined
depth to the colors in your hair and throughout your
extensions. You shouldn't worry about colors matching
exactly. The strands allow you to choose even a color
just a shade or 2 within yours and allow a beautiful
blend to be created. One of our customers says, like
magic...you think they aren't going to work and they
end up blending perfectly.
To create a look like this one in the photo above, you
would want to use our blondes in color #22 and #613.
Using more of the lighter blonde on the top, sides and
front gives you a natural sun bleached appearance that
further enhances the unnoticable hair extensions. For
this look use about 6 ounces of extension hair or 3-400
strands. |

Hair
extensions are not just for those who want longer hair!
Here is a look created with a very small amount of extension
hair, about 2-3 ounces in both a dark and light color
for a dramatic result with a medium length to shorter
hair.
When
it comes to adding hair extensions it is fun to think
outside the box. The contrast of color can create vivid,
eye-pleasing, attention-grabbing results. Think about
using an extension hair color completely opposite of
your own. If you are blonde, grab a deep auburn or the
darkest brown. If you are dark, think light caramel,
or bright blonde.
To
complete this style you will add contrasting pieces
of 12 inches in dark and light, or the contrasting colors
you have chosen for your hair. You will add about 3-4
ounces in different lengths to give a choppy end result.
The
MANEMAXX System works well for creating styles in which
you control the color strands and lengths you want to
apply. It is far easier to cut the hair to length before
you place the extensions in your hair. Cutting the extension
hair after it is installed can sometimes end up in unwanted,
unnatural results for a do-it-yourself 'er.. Can you
imagine those ends in the photo with blunt cuts? The
extension hair comes packaged with the natural ends
for unnoticable and natural hair extension wear. |
|
| The
MANEMAXX System allows you a ton of versatility in styling
your hair. The TemBond that comes with the MANEMAXX System
carries a color to blend with all natural hair colors.
The bonds are small and unnoticable, allowing you to wear
up-do styles as well as ponys, high or low. To
acheive the style in the photo above, you may want to
enlist the help of a friend or get the assistance of
a 3-way mirror, or at least an extra one propped behind
you. First, you will want to treat your hair with a
setting spray prior to using the iron. With a very large
barrel hot iron, start from the ends of your hair and
wrap the hair around and around until you are about
2 inches from your scalp. Hold for a few seconds, then
release slowly without allowing the curl to fall. Have
a handful of bobbies ready and pin each curl and allow
to cool. Handle the curles gently as you un-pin the
cooled curls and allow them to cascade into place.
Finally,
pull side pieces up little by little and pin them to
your crown. Use a soft holding spray that will allow
a little bounce to remain in your curls. |

From
Dee: (Above) I let my hair air dry. I just flip it upside
down and shake and scrunch a little with scrunch spray
- sooooo easy. Then I sometimes use a flat iron and
straighten it, put it in a scrunchie on top of my head,
mist sections with water to make damp, add bendable
curlers and go to bed. Everything is on top of my head
so it does not bother me while sleeping. In the morning
I take it out, let it down, flip and shake out - too
curly, so then I just use a blow dryer and loosen the
curl ( 30-45 sec) and the result is in the other pictures!(Below)
Soooo easy!
Love it!
