This ManeMaxx® hair extension kit contains our basic cost-effective 100% human hair. This extension hair can be styled just like your own hair. After washing, our Basic hair can be flat-ironed to be worn straight or scrunch-dry to produce a soft body wave.

Your hair extension kit includes:

The basic hair is only offered in straight but you will find the straight can be very similar in texture to a body wave after washing. Typically you can use either style to produce the same result. This means that if you have a slight wave to your hair when it dries naturally, you should have no problem using the Basic hair in straight and scruch-drying the extension hair to produce a blending wave to it.

Most of us have to style and work with our own hair to produce the result we want. The 100% human extension hair is the same. A flat iron, waving iron, curling iron all help to produce the look you are after and whether you end up with a body wave or straight hair.

If you need an actual curl to the extension hair, (whether yours is natural or from a perm) choose the Deepest Wave the Regal Remi Hair.

How much hair should I get?
Your ManeMaxx® Basic Starter Kit comes with 1 package (4 ounces) of extension hair. In many cases this is enough hair. In other cases, more hair will be neccessary for a nice, full, natural-looking install. Please review the list below to find out how much hair is best for you.

THIN TO AVERAGE: When 1 package of hair (total 4 ounces) is enough typically one of the following apply:

• Your hair is long or thin
• You are looking for volume only
• You are purchasing 12 - 16 inch hair
• You are purchasing wavy or curly hair
• You have an average size head and are looking to add length and some volume
• Your hair is average

AVERAGE TO THICK: When even more hair (another 4 ounces) should be added typically one of the following apply:

• You are looking to add length and volume
• Your hair is quite short
• You have a large head or a lot of hair
• Your hair is very thick or you are adding a ton of length
• You want to stock up and have plenty of hair on hand
• You are purchasing straight hair 18 to 20 inches and have shorter hair, shoulder length and above, to begin with

If you would like to prepare your bundles ahead of time, you can cut small 1/4 inch bundles, using the weft to keep the strands together, then..

When you are ready to apply you are REMOVING that piece of track to apply LOOSE STRANDS.

LOOSE STRANDS ARE USED FOR INSTALLING. THERE IS NO WEFT ATTACHED TO THE HAIR BUNDLE YOU DIP AND APPLY.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS! It is very important that you convert the wattage for using the bond warming pot supplied with your hair extension starter kit. Not correctly converting the wattage will result in a blown heating element in your warmer and we cannot be responsible for warmers which have not had the wattage converted correctly.
